Long Jing Dragon Well is Chinas most popular tea. This tea dates back to the Tang Dynasty with over 1000 years of history. It was the tea served to Richard Nixon during his famous meeting with Mao Zedong. It is well known for its flat-leaf appearance, pleasant jade green color, leafy aroma and roasted nutty taste.

    This medium (2nd highest) grade that we carry of Xi Hu Long Jing (dragon well) is from the Xi Hu area of HangZhou, ZheJiang province. It is one of the most famous teas from china and when infused it has a clear Greenish Amberish liquid and the each sword-shaped leaves floats straight up and down, a signature of good long jing (dragon well.) it has a strong sweet aroma and the leaves are hand processed when harvested in early spring. Temperature: 170 - 185F, Heated; Use: 1 tablespoon per 8 ounces of water; Infusion time: 2-3 minutes.
