    • A Polish Mozzarella-type cheese
    • Perfect for cooking or melting
    • Slice for sandwiches
    • Made from pasteurized milk
    • Imported from Poland

Lubelski is a town in the Lublin region of Eastern Poland. This region is mainly agricultural and lies between the Vestula and Bug rivers. The soil is rich and sandy because the region had been an inland sea 200 million years ago. Mild and somewhat dry, Lubelski is an excellent basic for your kitchen. It melts easily and has a flavor and texture similar to Mozzarella. Eat as a table cheese with beer or use for melting, cubing in a salad, or for Poland's famous cheese cake, Sernik, served at Easter time. Lubelski also makes an excellent pizza topping.

    • Similar to Monterey Jack
    • Perfect for cooking or melting
    • Slice for sandwiches
    • Made from pasteurized milk
    • Imported from Poland

The food of Poland is primarily dependent on the countrys soil and climate. A country whose borders have changed dramatically throughout its history, however, Poland has a cuisine that has absorbed the influence of the various people who have lived within them. French, Italian, and perhaps most obviously, Russian flavors and dishes are present throughout Polish cuisine. Despite these influences, the Polish predilection for simple, substantial dishes have remained. This cheese is an example of that preference. Morksi is a semi-soft cheese with a very mild, pleasant flavor. It is not at all complex or intimidating and is, therefore, a safe bet when serving a crowd or for every day eating. The cheeses smooth texture makes it great for melting, and it is perfect on a grilled ham and cheese sandwich made on Polish-style dark, hearty bread. · Made from pasteurized cows milk

Poland's borders have changed dramatically throughout history, as a result, she has absorbed the influences of the people who have lived there such as French, Italians and Russians. We offer a variety of Polish cheeses that reflect this diversity. Vegetable Suwalski with Paprika is a smooth, creamy cow's milk cheese packed with assorted vegetables and coated in ground paprika.
